How to get there

From Rome take the A1 motorway north towards Florence (Firenze), exit at Orvieto and follow directions to Bolsena, which is about 25km from the motorway exit. Once in Bolsena, follow the main road down to the main square and turn left at the traffic lights. At the next junction turn left and immediately left again, go under the Roman arch and turn right up the hill past the church of Santa Cristina and just after the fourth bend, there it is on the left hand side, Via Madonna del Giglio n.47.
